Welcome to LaxFit – a comprehensive fitness development program designed to meet the specific needs of the advanced Lacrosse player. For far too long, Lacrosse athletes have been isolated from the strength and conditioning programs around the area that tend to cater more specifically to sports such as football, baseball, and soccer. While many of the physical skills required of these sports do overlap with one another, the demands of Lacrosse combine a unique combination of speed, agility, strength, mobility, stamina, power, and explosiveness. Enter LaxFit, the area’s first and only comprehensive fitness program designed specifically for the sport of Lacrosse. Partnering with Paul Rabil’s program with STACK Fitness, arguably the nation’s top fitness program for Lacrosse athletes, Synergy Johns Creek is proud to bring this program to the phenomenal athletes in the Johns Creek and South Forsyth areas.

Based on the methodologies of high-intensity functional training found in CrossFit, LaxFit offers athletes constantly varied daily workouts that are performed in a competitive class-based atmosphere. Each workout is a competition in itself, driving athletes to push hard to perform their best and rank on top of the daily leaderboard. Each workout is designed around the various parameters of fitness, and includes:
- Functional strength training to develop the primary athletic movements (the squat, deadlift, and press)
- High intensity olympic movements to develop power and explosiveness
- Functional circuit training
- Speed, agility, and quickness with a focus on footwork and stick-skills
- Cardiovascular stamina
- Core stability
- Increased aerobic and anaerobic work capacity
- Focus on mobility and flexibility for increased range of motion and injury prevention
Each athlete is evaluated at the beginning of the program, and results are monitored using software with each training session. The athlete is then re-tested periodically in order to see measurable progress. The result of this program is an athlete who is stronger and faster, more powerful and explosive, with a super-charged aerobic capacity and much more injury-resilient body.
LaxFit student athletes can train at any of our regularly scheduled class times, but are encouraged to attend either the 6:30am or 6:30pm options.
