Initial Consultation

The first time you walk through the doors at Synergy, you can expect a friendly greeting with a firm handshake. From there, we would love to sit down and briefly chat with you. This can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you. Why? We simply want to get to know you first! What brings you to Synergy? Are you new to CrossFit? What are your goals? What have you been doing in the past? We ask because we care. We want to know you so we know how we can serve you. Together, we can decide whether the Synergy Family is the right fit for you or not!

A) Try It Before You Buy It
We would never ask you to join us without experiencing what we are all about firsthand. And along those lines, we don’t believe that you can get a true taste for what our workouts are like with one or two “free classes”. If you have previous CrossFit experience, we invite you to train for an entire week with us – for free. Over the course of a week, you’ll get a true taste of the well-rounded and constantly varied workouts you can

B) FOUNDATIONS
If you are new to CrossFit, or are coming back after a long time away from it, we may ask you to complete “Foundations” before officially joining our Family. Foundations is an 8-session course where you will meet one-on-one with one of our coaches to learn everything you need to know about CrossFit from the ground up. We know this is a commitment, and we also know there are plenty of “boxes” out there where you won’t be required to go through this. But this is precisely why we aren’t a “box”. At Synergy, we want you to know and understand the reason we train the way we do – the science and methodology behind it. We want you to have a firm understanding and competence in most of the basic movements we use each day in the gym – so that from day one when you walk into class, you know exactly what to expect and are prepared to attack your workouts with safe technique and high intensity. We want to show you how – privately – before you are thrown right into the group class. Done properly, CrossFit will get you in better shape than any other fitness regimen out there. Done improperly, you can get burnt out and even hurt. We aren’t interested in the latter, and don’t think you should be either.

Joining Synergy
At the end of this process, for those of you that did not go through FOUNDATIONS, if you wish to become a permanent member of the Synergy Family, we do ask one small favor of you. This isn’t a contract really, but more like a commitment. In the same way we are committing to provide you with the best fitness experience of your life, we ask you to make a similar commitment to us by paying for your first 3-months of membership up front. You see, we know that in reality, it takes at least 90-days to make and achieve noticeable changes and results in your fitness. So we ask that you at least give us that. Like we’ve said, Synergy is a family – and nobody jumps in and out of families every month like they would their latest diet. Therefore, we ask for you to stick with us for at least 90-days. We are confident you will like what you see. Your membership will then automatically renew each month after that. And as we mentioned above, if you really are dissatisfied, feel free to leave at any time.
